Protest options: a list of links to petitions, donations, resources and education. living in nh is like being marty mcfly in back to the future. nh is still in the 1980’s with most things, not being able to order a replacement license on the internet, dual license plates, minimum wage, etc. a citation can be issued if the window tint doesn't allow more then 70% light thought it a $127.50 citation.Īz has no restrictions on window tint, all cars from the dealership come with factory tint on all windows. Change the state of iowa window tint law (321.438) currently iowa law enforcement officers, can stop any vehicle that appears to have "darker" then permitted window tint on their windshield or front driver and passenger windows. i have started this petition in efforts to make front window tint legal in iowa. i am allowed to conceal a weapon, yet not allowed to have tint? think about it. i along with many others feel this to be a burden among citizens to be pulled over for such a silly reason. It will not only help me, but the other people whos eyes are sensitive to light. if i can't tint my windows, then why can our state governor drive around in a car with tint so dark you can't see into the window at all. what i don't understand is you make a law then you have to enforce it every direction. This law is not to police up the bad people in this state but affects the good citizens who call new york state home. so does it make you a criminal to have tint on your windows? personally, i have very light sensitive eyes, and i would love to have tint on my windows. they were abiding all of the laws of the road. i have known several people who have been pulled over and sited for window tint. An officer wouldn't be able to tell if you have one anyway. to account for tint built into the window from the factory, i propose the 3% be changed 8%. right now current tint laws allow for a 3% before you get a ticket or fine. Any ideas or experience?įrom all the threads I've read, people are saying it's fine as long as you can see the lights, but I'd like some first-hand accounts in NH if possible.Minnesota has one of the most restrictive automotive tint laws in the country, and tint tickets start at over $100 dollars. I want to pick up some nightshade to do a light tint since my car is black int/ext, but don't feel like dealing with the police.
